Train Like a Professional
Take Weekly Circus Classes with the Circus Foundry cast!
Here is a sentence or two about your credentials (maybe? but briefly and not overly-specifically), with more about how you think about coaching circus and what you believe.
We teach a whole host of disciplines in a variety of categories, and are happy to cater to brand new students who are merely curious to try something new, all the way to refining and challenging existing (or future) circus professionals. Most of our classes are targeted to adults, but we have several youth-specific classes and several youth-friendly ones as well.
- Aerial Classes
- Hanging Fabrics (Silks and Sling/Hammock) are the most easily-pictured circus disciplines with their bright colors and dizzying heights.
You can also take Rope classes which is a discipline that definitely exists, challenge your strength and endurance with Straps, and surprise yourself with all the ways you can sit in and around a large metal hoop in Lyra classes. - Acrobatic Classes
- We've got a thriving adult Tumbling class that focuses on mitigating the specific impacts of the sport on adult bodies, as well as rigorously breaking down the mental and physical pathways necessary to learn new movements without needing to have done them thousands of times since childhood (as is the traditional tumbling experience).
Partner Acrobatics teaches adagio skills, counterbalances, and beginning to advanced Sport Acro techniques for stacking people on top of people, including dynamic throws and catches.
Plus we have Trampoline classes to really level-up your proprioception and ability to do twists and flips, and Tramp Wall to challenge your fears and teach you to run up a sheer vertical wall. - Props
- Learn to Juggle all manner of objects, including balls, clubs, and rings. Learn your very first three-ball cascade, or pick up some fancy new patterns, passing and stealing, or even contact juggling.
Stay tuned for news about our >Fire Jam where you can (safely) throw, spin, and be mesmerized by all manner of flaming props, as well as the possible return of Hooping classes. - Specialty
- We also offer the only free-standing Chinese Pole classes in the area. Scale this giant apparatus and master the opposing forces necessary to hold static poses before dropping with grace and a fair amount of drama.
- Conditioning
- Strength Training, as well as Flexibility and Mobility classes supplement any training and movement interests you may have, keeping you safer from injury as well as unlocking new skills and progressions.
You can read full descriptions and special instructions for each class in our interactive schedule below.
